- And I said, Who art thou, Lord? And He said, I am Jesus whom thou persecutest.
- But rise, and stand upon thy feet: for I have appeared unto thee for this purpose, to make thee a minister and a witness both of these things which thou hast seen, and of those things in the which I will appear unto thee;
- Delivering thee from the people, and from the Gentiles, unto whom now I send thee,
- To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me.
- Whereupon, O king Agrippa, I was not disobedient unto the heavenly vision:
KEY VERSE: ACTS 26:18 To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me.
The message of the gospel is to turn sinners from darkness of idolatry and witchcraft unto the light of God. Turn them from the power of Satan. They glory in the power of Satan; power to kill, power to fly, power to poison, power to do mystics. “Give me this power also.”
Go and turn them from that power of Satan: Power to disappear and reappear or to turn to an animal. Turn them away from the power of Satan unto God. That they may receive forgiveness of their sins. Those powers they are using keep them in sin and makes them doomed. The power to come out of their bodies and go for meeting in the coven. Go and stop it in their lives. Introduce them to the power of God that keeps from sin, sanctifies the heart and keeps the believer holy.
Introduce them to the power of God that is in the name of Jesus, in the blood of Jesus and in the word of God. Turn them from the power of darkness and bring them to the light of God. This is the message of the gospel. Then they will receive forgiveness of sin. Make them to believe in Christ, that He may sanctify them so they may have the inheritance of God.
Warn men of hell fire, the abode of sinners and assure men of heaven, the reward of the righteous. Warn every man against hell fire. Jesus said, “Fear Him who can kill the body and cast the soul to hell, where their worms die not and their fire is not quenched.”
Warn them of hell, then assure them of heaven. “In my Father’s house there are many mansions. If it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you and when I prepare a place, I will come again and take you to be with Me, that where I am, there you may be also.”
Thought for the day: The message of the gospel is to turn sinners from darkness of idolatry and witchcraft unto the light of God.
