BIBLE REFERENCE: PSALM 115:3
But our God is in the heavens: he hath done whatsoever he hath pleased.
THE MESSAGE: Our God is a sovereign God. He rules and reigns over all. Man, animals and nature are all under His control. His power, knowledge, wisdom, strength and authority are higher than those of all created beings in the universe. Beside Him, there is no God. He is the king of kings and the lord of lords. If he says “No”, that’s final. If He says “Yes”, that’s final. Nobody can change or reverse it. He is the creator of all things. He sees and knows all He created including the ones made by man by His enablement.
God is over and above all. He is not under anybody’s control. None can compete with Him or challenge Him. He is unquestionable. When He gives peace, none can make war; when He blesses, none can curse. When He kills, none can make alive; and when He makes alive, none can kill!
How then, should we behave with all this knowledge and understanding about God as supreme? Yield and submit yourself totally to Him. Serve Him with joy and gladness in holiness and righteousness every day of your life. Love Him passionately, whole-heartedly and consistently.
Be peaceful in whatever situation and circumstances you find yourself knowing that God is the supreme One in your life and family, not what you’re going through. His counsel, not that of anyone, will prevail in your life, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
FOOD FOR THOUGHT: If God is on your side, you are safe in every circumstances.
PRAYER POINT: Pray that God will open your eyes to see His supremacy over all.
