You Have a Counsellor

6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.

THE MESSAGE: A counsellor, according to an online dictionary, “is a professional who counsels people, especially, on personal problems.”

Humans will always have personal problems, according to Job 14:1. Most times, these problems are confusing and complicated without any clue on how to handle them. But through proper, professional counselling by a “professional counsellor”, solutions are usually found.

Do you know you have a Counsellor living with you? A Counsellor that is more “professional”, more experienced and wiser than all counsellors on the surface of the earth? Jesus Christ is your Counsellor. Seek counsel from Him on every matter that gives you concern. You will become better and happier for it!

Jesus is eager to counsel you. Bring every matter to Him in prayer, He will tell you what to do. Every solution you need is with Him. He clears every doubt and makes complex situations become simple.

He could counsel you through His Holy Spirit in you, through prayer, through His word, through a revelation, or through His anointed servants.

Always seek for His counsel before taking any step in life. He will give you perfect counsel of peace. All confusions will disappear from your heart once He tells you what to do. If you make Jesus your personal Counsellor, indeed, you will not regret it. Rather, you will save yourself from unnecessary stress, sorrows, failure and problems of life, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

If you have not yet made Jesus your Lord and personal Saviour, or you are living in sin, His counselling ministry is not for you except you repent.

FOOD FOR THOUGHT: Be Jesus’ counselee, if you need peace of heart.

PRAYER POINT: Pray about every matter you need counselling on right now.
