Phones and Tablets

“Preach the word, be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all long suffering and doctrine.”(2 Timothy 4:2).

Preaching the word of God is a mandatory duty of every true servant of God. If say you serve God or have been called by Him, PREACH THE WORD! Preach it whether they will hear or not, preach it and leave the result with God.

In these days we are in, many have left off preaching the true word of God and have gone into preaching diverse doctrine that contradict the word. They are preaching human ideologies, philosophies, fables and human traditions. Such preachings damn the soul in hell. It is disobedience to God and a mark of unfaithfully to His word to preach anything else.

It is when the word is preached that people experience the transformation of hearts and lives. Preaching the word breaks hardened hearts and make them suitable for the dwelling and growth of God’s word. It is the power of God unto salvation. Many become converted and saved from sin. It leads people to righteousness and true holiness.

When the word is prayerfully and faithfully preached, miracles, signs and wonders are done to confirm the word and God is glorified! It is what brings revival. There is great power in the preaching of the word. Nothing can compare to it.

The Early church knew the power that resided in preaching the word and so, gave themselves wholly to that. They did not allow persecution, afflictions or the devil to stop them from their commitment to preach the word. Let’s take follow in their steps. We must not allow what we are going through – our challenges, trials or difficulties – to stop us from the preaching of the word. The fear of man or death should not allow us to shut our mouths.

Our motto should be “Either the word or nothing else!”

No situation should stop us from preaching the word.
