These 7 Things Will Help You Grow In Holiness

Yes, you can grow in holiness. That is what God desires.

See what God’s word says, “But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, to whom be glory now and forever and ever” (2 Peter 3:18).

Can one grow in holiness? Yes of course. Just as the Lord expects you to grow in other Christian graces, He also expects you to grow in holiness. You really can become holier than you are now.

Today, you can become holier than yesterday and so on. It’s up to you: your desire for greater holiness. Unless you have a desire for greater holiness, growth in the experience of holiness becomes impossible.

TO GROW IN HOLINESS, THEREFORE, do the following:
i. Maintain a regular fellowship with God and God’s people.
ii. Nourish yourself daily on God’s Word.

Iii. Read books about holiness, purity, and other related things.

iv. Listen to holiness preachers talk about holiness, whether in real life or on CDs, DVDs, etc.

vi Always pray for more holiness.
v. Be sensitive to the Holy Spirit. And do not neglect the voice of your conscience.

vi. Let the fear of God reign over your heart at all times.

vii. And, …. always refrain from all manifestations of evil.

Beloved, do not remain in your current level of holiness. Grow and advance in holiness.

Keep cultivating your holiness, you will surely grow and become holier day by day until you see Jesus face to face, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

“Therefore, beloved, with these promises let us cleanse ourselves from every defilement of flesh and spirit, and perfect holiness in the fear of God” (2 Corinthians 7:1).

Finally, holiness, that is uncultivated will not be able to weather the storm.
