F. F. Bosworth is a household name among Pentecostal preachers. The full name is Fred Francis Bosworth.
F. F. Bosworth was a pentecostal preacher with the healing anointing whom the Lord used greatly to heal the sick in his day. His book, ‘Christ the Healer’ remains one of the best books on healing the sick today.
F. F. Bosworth was born on January 27, 1877 near Utica, Nebraska, United States, on a farm. He became born again at the age of 16 in a revival meeting at the First Methodist Church, Omaha, Nebraska, where he and Clarence his brother visited Miss Greene – a friend.
He was very diligent and hardworking in all his many secular jobs. He worked very hard until he became diagnosed with lung problems that made him cough for straight eight years that he thought he was going to die. But God, who knew He was not yet through with Bosworth, miraculously healed him during a Methodist Church revival meeting through a lady with faith and the gift of healing who prayed for him to get healed, and instantaneously, he was completely healed.
Bosworth desired the baptism of the Holy Ghost and in 1906, precisely on October 18, he got it with the initial evidence of speaking in tongues.
As I conclude this precious biography, it is good to know that, Bosworth was fearless in the face of persecutions and attacks from his opponents full of faith and trust in God in time of adversity.
His wife, who was also very active in his life and ministry, passed on to the great beyond in 1917. Though, he got married to another woman that outlived him.
F. F. Bosworth was a pioneer in the establishment of the National Radio Revival Missionary Crusader, and then, died on January 23, 1958.
